The Malaysia Choral Eisteddfod

We don't have to do this, seriously. It doesn't have to be like this. haha.
Pictures are grab from some DJ guy on facebook, seng, lei & yat kuan's blog.

I'm not alone anymore ,
cause i've opened up the doors,
to the music i was born with ,
and the music from your shores

The Malaysia Choral Eisteddfod was awesome! At first no one was phys about it because we have a sucky venue this year which is in school due to the economics crisis this year. Somehow it turned out great, learning so much in so little time. It was a life time experience. On the first day of Choral Eisteddfod, we had the inter-state competition as well as the international Eisteddfod competition on the same day, it made us all so exhaust, but it was still fun.

vocal warm up with DJ's choir .

Headed back and forth to, well everywhere. Practically what we did the whole day was going for competitions, competitions, competitions. Finally everything ends here, and i won't be seen in the blue costume anymore, gonna miss it haha.

We got our results the next day, we managed to achieve an acceptable? result ( silver ) Wait, is it acceptable enough? Well that's not the point, the main focus was on STC Cherubim when they were announced the champions of the competition, before they were announced, all of them were so nervous and when they won they jumped up screaming and hugging each other. Most of them even cried, tears of joy, how touching. Haha. But if i were in their shoes, i think i would have cried too. Come on, you came all the way from another country and won the competition , that is something to be really proud of okay.

They're from the Philippines and they are really, REALLY, i mean REALLY humble & friendly. If any choir sounded like them in Malaysia, the choir would have known that they were gonna win and don't even bother to look at other choirs. But STC Cherubim are different, they are so good, and yet their still so friendly and super likable. By the way, did i ever mansion that every single one of them looked really good, LOL no joke. If you have a Philippine helper at home, ask them to sing for you, i bet they'll sound good too!

We managed to take pictures with most of the choirs who came for the competition because most of them aren't staying for the festival the next day. Justin even brought his video camera and caught every great moment on his cam. Of course he also went around asking people to give him big juicy kisses " MWAH " .
